Who Are We?
Honour In Service is a mission-driven platform dedicated to all aspects of hospitality. We aim to support the hospitality industry and enlighten those who overlook the incredible opportunities within our vibrant businesses.
Globally, from Europe to America, the hospitality sector is viewed as a noble profession. When traveling, how often have you been served someone who has dedicated years to advancing their career as a waiter, bartender,, or chef, perfecting their skills to provide exceptional service? , consider the UK and reflect on the same question, adding how of those instances involved a British individual. Sadly, we suspect the answer is quite low.
Our Core Values

Support
Everyone needs support in Hospitality, from the new staff member to the CEO.

Our aim is to be able to deliver support in all manner of forms to each person working in Hospitality.

This could be creating a better working environment, finding cheaper suppliers or building a community of likeminded people

Promote
Remove the negativity and promote what’s great about hospitality.
Not just how things work in shifts or the food and drink served but the hidden bonuses and the amazing and fulfilling job opportunities that are vast and varied and go beyond the daily public focus.
We will shout and promote so everyone hears.

Educate
In the UK there tends to be an attitude that the service industry is not a honourable profession. We want to change that!
Parents, teachers, politicians and young people need to be educated to see that a career in hospitality is not only honourable but very rewarding.
Gone are the old days and in its place is a vibrant, forward thinking industry ready to embrace change.
Our Missions
Honour In Service has four main missions

Mission 1
CHANGE THE PERCEPTION OF THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY WITHIN THE UK

Change the way that the country sees careers in hospitality.

Through positive marketing of the Hospitality Industry using influencers, celebrities, podcasts and vlogging.

Mission 2
EDUCATE TEACHERS, PARENTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE.

A national campaign to enhance the reputation of the Hospitality Industry as a viable career path and an honourable profession.

This means educating parents, teachers and career guidance officers and showing them how good a career in hospitality can be and also how diverse the industry is.

We will also work with current training companies to provide apprentice training for people who want to enter the industry.

CREATE A BETTER WORLK LIFE BALANCE FOR STAFF

Attract new people into the industry with changes that can create a great work life balance.

Promote infrastructure in business to be able to reduce hours and give greater benefits.

Set up Hospitality focused perks and reward apps.

Create support networks for employers to be able to discuss and brainstorm creative ways of changing the working culture.

Create training and learning for the business owners to work out new ways to stay profitable whilst rewarding loyal staff.

CREATE A COMMUNITY FOR OUR AMAZING INDUSTRY

Be the place when anyone and everyone who works in hospitality can gather.

Offer support through our network of contacts and recommended suppliers.

Networking events will be the place where we can all get together and create a bonded plan.

We will meet with MP's and other trade bodies to share our communities views and requirements.

Push for better working rights for businesses with regards to rates and taxes.
